AI Master Tech, over your shoulder.

Upload recorded scan logs. FaultPath lines up the data, catches cross‑module patterns, and tells you what to test next.

What FaultPath does
  • Record — KOEO/KOER/drive logs: PIDs, Mode 06, UDS.
  • Correlate — trims, MAP/MAF, O₂ dynamics, requests & permits.
  • Advise — ranked root causes + a next‑test plan.
Optional actuation is safety‑gated and requires explicit consent.

How it works

  1. Record a session with your existing scan tool (KOEO/KOER/drive).
  2. Upload the file. We normalize and time‑align signals across ECUs.
  3. Analyze features and cross‑checks to rank likely root causes.
  4. Next‑test plan — clear, safe steps to isolate the fault.
Example: P0171 — trims high at idle but improve under load → vacuum leak suspected → smoke intake, pinch PCV hose to watch STFT move.

Data Demo (sample)

Below is a static illustration of the kind of data FaultPath analyzes. Out‑of‑range signals are highlighted to mimic what high‑end tools show — then we go deeper by correlating across modules and operating modes.

O₂ Sensor (V) STFT (%) LTFT (%)
PIDValueRangeStatus
MAF (g/s)2.12.5–3.5 (idle)LOW
MAP (kPa)2828–32 (KOEO≈BARO)OK
STFT (%)+22-8 to +8HIGH
LTFT (%)+18-10 to +10ELEVATED
O₂ B1S1 (V)0.060.1–0.9 switchingLEAN
OK Watch Out of range

Idle trims high but improve under load → Vacuum leak likely. Next tests: smoke intake, pinch PCV hose for STFT response.

Hardware Roadmap

Planned bundle: a Bluetooth‑enabled OBD‑II interface that pairs with the FaultPath app, so your phone can record and upload logs in one shot. We’ll start with read‑only mode and add safe, gated actuation where permitted.
